A tropical wave is leaving the area today and another is expected to arrive tomorrow night, increasing cloud cover and rainfall, according to the National Meteorological Office (ONAMET). Because of the continuing winds from the southeast, temperatures will continue in the 90s (or 30s Celsius), while a weak trough hovers over the island, causing thunderstorms and cloudbursts, especially in the northeast, southeast, the central mountains and the border region today.
