Magdalena Rodriguez, who first made headlines when she gave birth to quintuplets, has had another child, as reported in Listin Diario. Kiara Selena, Kira Selena, Keila Selena, Ciara Selena y Luis Manuel, born three years ago at the Maternidad Nuestra Senora de la Altagracia, the leading public maternity hospital, now have a little sister. Listin Diario has only just reported that there is now also a Kaira Selena, born six months ago. The quintuplets were born 25 May 2007.
She told reporters that she has enrolled her five children in a private school and will pay RD$7,000 in tuition. She appealed to Listin Diario readers for support for her children. She said that only Huggies continued to supply her with diapers.
The full time mom says they each have their own personality and that she gets respite by taking the six children to her mother's house in the afternoon. She lives in a spacious home that was remodeled by the Ministry of Public Health after the children were born.
