I'd just like to say thanks to everyone for all the useful info on this site....gave me a good idea of what to look out for (and what to avoid) when I got ot Puerto Plata. Next visit will be the end of September (provided they havent shut the whole damn country down by then)

thanks for warm welcome gents, and I promise weyland had nothing but good things to sa about you & the site!!! myfriend from the State Tim & I spent a week at Field of Dreams in late june/early July, and believe yu me my eyes ere opened for sure!!! of all the places I've been over the last 10 years or so the DR is currently my favorite!!! (of course it's also the only one I can seem to remember.....). Looking forward to seeing some of you fellas out & about (before 2 a.m. that is)
