Rains are forecast for this afternoon as a tropical wave moves eastward to the country. Meanwhile, tropical storm Danielle is projected to turn northwestwards towards the area near Bermuda, and not affect t he Caribbean islands. Nevertheless, weather forecasters are reminding the public that preparations need to be completed now that the peak part of the season begins at the end of August and during September.
