Good taxi service for Black Beards, Sosua

We have been using Miguel for the past two years. If you make him a reasonable offer, he will accept. Tell him you got the number from the NJ guys at Black Beards - he will know.

I travel with a friend, so we give total of 500 pesos ($14) for a ride to Sosua from BB's; not bad like $7 each. We also call him to go to La Sirena or where ever else we want to go. In our experience, he arrives quickly on short notice.

Seems to have a lot of friends in the taxi network, so has had no trouble getting into gated area of Costambar.FUnny as hell too.

He is good for anyone between Costambar and Cabarete. He is often in Sosua hanging with the drivers near the resorts, but business is way slow. He has very little work, so I am happy to send some people his way. The fact that he speaks English and by all our experiences so far, a fair and honest guy, makes his number worth writing down for any of our frequent traveling ISOC amigos.

Can anyone else confirm paying this $8 price to and from the airport. I have never seen this anywhere before. I thought $20 was the lowest they could go .

I just saw the same thing. $20 to Sosua and $30 to PP (assuming that includes Blackbeards). I have to believe there are better deals out there.

Further than what? Isn't it in Puerta Plata? I thought Costambar was as section of PP. The website says $30 to PP.

Just keep it simple. Walk out to the publico taxi stand in Sosua (assuming you're starting from Sosua of course) and just offer one of the private cabbies 600 pesos (about $16 and change). Then get his phone number and let him know when you'll need a ride back.

When you're ready to leave Blackbeards, walk about a half mile out of the facility till you pass the Costambar security gate and have him meet you there. I was able to do this with no issues at 10:30pm last night.

As noted in my post on the other thread, the chicas pretty much advocate going out to the nearby La Roca cabinas. But then of course you're looking at cab fare (never a good deal when having to use the cabbies outside the facility), as well as the cost of the room. And the girls aren't about to discount the session price to make up the difference.

Sounds like costwise you might as well pay 55 on sight for a room, it might be cheaper than paying for the taxi back and forth and the salida fee. I know if I went their without a room I would probably be upset that I couldn't fuck on sight.

Yo i just checked out this guys website. and i was curious those girls he has in the video... are they like escorts or some shit when you are picked up at the air port in pop. or just some random chicas they recorded pictures of. The reason i ask is because i wouldent mind trying to pull a couple of them they were kinda cute. any body have any insight on this?

Thanks for the advice, but I'm going from the airpuerto to BB, and then a few days later, from BB to NG.
