Doctors and other health workers began to collect their paychecks with the 15% pay raise ordered by the government. The payment was delayed because of the adjustments to the payrolls that the authorities carried out. They expect the process to conclude between today and tomorrow. The salary increase ended the two-year year struggle carried out by the Dominican Medical College (CMD) that represents public hospital physicians, and the Coordinator of the Health Unions that covered two years.
