El Dia reports that the Dominican government has been given the names of 27 military and police officers US intelligence links to drug trafficking. Reportedly, the list was delivered on 31 August. An unnamed former president of the National Drug Control Department (DNCD) told El Dia that anti-drug and ethics advisor to the President, Marino (Vincho) Castillo knows the identities of the people on the list and said that Castillo should make the names public.
