Taiwan donates US$700,000 to Infotep

Taiwanese ambassador Isaac Tsai has donated US$700,000 to the National Institute of Professional Technical Training (Infotep) on behalf of the Taiwanese government. The money will be used to equip six mobile workshops for training in some of the country's most remote communities. Josefina Pimentel, director of Infotep, received the donation. Infotep will now have eight mobile workshop units in operation by the first quarter of 2011, as reported in El Dia.
