Today's Listin Diario runs the second article in a series on new words, half words and phrases in common Dominican language. The report focuses on the lingo used by drug dealers and other criminals. "If you're in a barrio and you hear someone say: "send him to be prepared", be very afraid. They have ordered your death. Rafael Baez, a judge in the Province of Santo Domingo says the language is common among young people in the lower social levels and in the jails where the reality of life in the barrios is reflected.
