Two arrested in Eduardo Estrella case

Two men on a motorbike who tried to rob politician and former senator and minister of public works Eduardo Estrella on the doorstep of his home were arrested yesterday. They are Alexis Rivera Polanco and Breidy de Jesus Fondeur Cruz. Santiago police spokesman Colonel Antonio Calvo said that they operated in company of Julio Cesar Salas Rodriguez, Yoeric Hernandez Vargas, Jose Alberto Pena Almonte and Michael Rodriguez Abreu who were also arrested. The gang is accused of stealing from homes, stores and individuals in Santiago, as reported in Diario Libre.
