10,000 golfers in the DR

The president of the Dominican Golf Federation (Fedogolf) says these are good times for golf in the DR. He says Fedogolf has more than 10,000 players on its register. He commented that many golfers needed to make reservations up to four months in advance to play on one of the country's 28 courses. Fedogolf registration provides Dominicans and foreign residents with reduced rates to play the courses. He mentioned that the Fedogolf advantage that a player has the right to 13 free games at several courses has helped plenty of golfers. He commented that several Dominican golfers were training to qualify to compete in the Rio de Janeiro 2016 Olympics.
