Dominican weightlifter Yuderquis Contreras has won a slot in the London Olympics at the World Weightlifting Championships in Antalya, Turkey. She ranked third in the 53kg category, behind athletes from China and Turkey. Teammate Carolanni Reyes placed 18th in the 48kg category. Her next major competition is the Pan Am Games in Guadalajara, Mexico in 2011.
