Venezuela deports Dominican

Venezuela deported two alleged drug traffickers to the US on Monday. One of them is Jaime Alberto Marin (Beto Marin) said to be a boss of the powerful Norte del Valle cartel in Colombia. Another suspected trafficker, 38-year old Dominican Omar Guzman Martinez was also deported. US Drug Enforcement Administration agents accompanied the suspects on the flight from the Simon Bolivar International Airport. Marin was arrested on Margarita Island on 16 September, and Guzman Martinez had been caught earlier on 25 August in Caracas. As reported, Marin will face charges of drug trafficking and money laundering, and Guzman will be arraigned for shipping cocaine to the US.
