I was thinking of coming down in Nov for this event, i guess i should wait and see if this is a go or not.

It will be a bummer if it doesn't go ahead, so much for tourist promotion.

However the DominicanCentral report states different dates than the official website so I dunno.

Lorenzo lives next door to me so I'll probably catch him some time over the weekend and find out.

Spoke with the promoter this week and as of now he is still looking for additional sponsorship but is confident that the event will go ahead.

I'll be arriving in Cabarete on Thursday the 25th for 5 days, will hit Sosua and surrounding areas as soon as I get settled.

I hope the jazz festival attracts some nice fresh meat for the weekend.
