I decided to put off my Colombia trip for now, and do the DR again...this will be 6 times that I have been there, trip: 1) 10 days Cabarete 2) 12 days Cabarete 3) 2 weeks Sosua 4) 4 weeks Sosua 5) 4 weeks Sosua 6) 4 weeks Sosua

I'm going to be in town from Nov. 15 -- Dec. 13.

I might need a wingman for Samana, as I have plans to do about 3-4 days there. Lots of hot chicas at the carwash in town...and the best beaches in the Dominican.

I am waiting to see how the crackdown on the whores changes things. If it gets worse I may not go back. After spending a week in Medellin and being able to have safe rooms for a good price and a clean city with full service for $13 US it makes it harder to want to go back to Sosua. But I travel every few days in the cold months so I may make a December trip.

My thought would be since some of us plan a ways out and the clock is ticking and we are now in Nov. how about either starting a second Poll for Jan. Feb. March or adding Feb and March to your existing one.

That's a fucked up answer you got from them lol. You can always stay at Terra Linda if NG acts up when you get there.Their rates aren't too bad either. I believe its $69 a night.

That is a good price for a place that nice since they include breakfast the same as New Garden and with NG going up to $55 for the old section the 7 Bucks more sounds like a no brainer. Have fun

When you rent the car the $176 with taxes is a decent rate and most better credit cards cover the Collision Damage Waiver but they don't cover the Personal Injury extra coverage.

Trust me on this one buy it. It may be 25 or 30 bucks but if somebody hits you you will be glad you have it. I have driven that highway from STI to POP and Sosua many times and ya just might need that ;)

So far in my international mongering adventures, I have been to Frankfurt, Germany's FKK clubs and had a blast over there. I also traveled to San Jose, Costa Rica and experienced the Hotel Little Havana....that was fun too, but more expensive than I anticipated.

Well you hit the dates when all the change is happening in Sosua but don't worry you will have plenty of fun. Many guys that are in town PM each other so if it were me I would check in on the site for a few minutes each day. If you don't bring a computer they have them to use for a few coins at all the internet shops on every block. One less than a block in both directions from New Garden on same side of street. :wink:

The amount of people going to be in town next week is continuing to grow. I have counted over 20 including some that don't post there dates.
There is a big blizzard starting in the Midwest. We are supposed to get 15-20 inches of snow then Sunday it is supposed to drop to minus 15 degrees below zero. :eek: I have to get out of here, even visiting the riots in Haiti sounds good now. :lol:

They announced here on TV that anyone that wants to go can get free tickets. Everyone who paid for a ticket can get a full refund or go to Detroit and get best choice of seats starting right on the 50 yard line. They announced here on TV that anyone that wants to go can get free tickets. Everyone who paid for a ticket can get a full refund or go to Detroit and get best choice of seats starting right on the 50 yard line. I heard on the radio they are sold out Now. Nice they won but bums me out Aaron Rodgers got hurt because I was counting on the last game of the year between Green Bay and Chicago to decide the division but now it may be decided before then.

Side note there is Conspiracy Theories coming out on the Metrodome being helped to collapse. The cameras were left on all night and some say that people were shooting at the roof with shotguns from inside.

I was going to do 6 at BB and 5 at NG, but after the whole Crackdown discussions between this board,ISG,and CRT...I decided to go with the sure thing in BB's..Had to commit to the days and reservation in order to do this. ..I plan on getting away from BB's and explore and may even get into Sosua and take the loss on BB's for a night or 2... But I am strictly there to get my "groove"on and BB's has all the action on site and readily available..1st time to DR, but been to CR and played all around that country..

Just left after 8 pleasure filled days and nights. There is a crackdown, but it is mainly to keep girls from walking the street or soliciting at the bars alone. As long as there are in a club/discoteca or bar actually drinking, then they are fine. At Classicos the girls have to be upstairs in the club unless they are with a male at the bar area. I have no idea how these rules pass the smell test with civil rights laws, but hey - this isn't America we're talking about.

I haven't stayed there but I know Naptime has. I think he liked it OK. If both places are filled up, check out the Terra Linda. They have about 60 rooms and I doubt they would be full. That's where I will be......

January 26 - February 3 for eight nights. Flying into and out of Santiago because of better connections. Renting an economy car in Santiago with ac and unlimited miles for $113/$176 w/taxes (as cheap as taking a taxi to and from Sosua plus gives me options including a visit to Weyland in Puerto Plato, day trip to San Juan de Rio, etc. Now need to work out lodging options. Probably talk with DonQuixote at Sosua Vacation Rentals and a few other places like Residencia de P'iero. Anyone else going to be there during that time, I'd enjoy meeting you.

I reserved a car for $127 all in from POP.

I also wanted to meet the famous Weyland..and buy him a beer for all the pics and posts he puts up.

I was thinking my home base would be in POP at KMA..and only getting a $20 -$30 "hit shack" in Sosua for maybe Friday and Sat night. (just in case I grab a chica and don't wanna drive back to POP late night).
