US TV Show "Get Out!" on HDNET

On HDNet, US cable TV (Channel 362 on DISH TV), there is a show called "Get Out!," and they filmed a whole bunch of new shows in the DR and the North Coast in 2010.

It's basically a T'n'A show with swimsuit models (think Sports Illustrated) that go to different locations.

I've seen the episodes Punta Goleta, Perla Marina (Puerto Plata), Cabarete, and the newest one, Saona Island. I think I liked that one the best out of them all. I thought it was really cool in the Saona show where the snorkeled in a spot where they could handle live starfish. I'm definitely going to do the tour the next time I go to the DR.

Apparently there are episodes on Sosua, Playa Chiquita, Rio San Juan, and some others coming up which, I don't think, have aired yet.

In the Perla Marina (Puerto Plata) episode they visit Seaworld and take the Catamaran Tour and snorkel off of Sosua Beach. Nice shot of Sosua Beach from the boat.

In the Cabarete epsiode, there is a nice shot of them walking down the beach past Bambu nightclub...deja vu...I think I've seen that place (about a 100 times).... before.....hehe....

I saw the Sosua episode about a month ago. They basically just peruse the shops on that street that leads to the beach, get flirted with by shop owners, then chill out in the water. There are some funny parts when one is mistaken for an imported SW, and another where the word (pronunciation) "Beeagra" takes about 10 minutes to sink in. When they complain about being hungry, though, and you finally think they're about to head over to "the strip" or show you some new, unfamiliar Sosua restaurant or something, they agree that they're headed to lunch... in Cabarete!

According to the HDNET schedule, the Sosua episode will play again on Sat., Oct. 30....they usually show the episode twice, once in the evening before midnight and once after....can't wait to see it!!! :lol:

frito whats the story with deja vu? i liked cabarete but not sure i remember seeing that place. mostly europeans at the night club or dominican girls also?

It's a mix of gringos and Dominicans at the clubs in Cabarete.

I have been there on some nights where the beach was so crowded (and it was mainly Dominicans) you could hardly move and it looked like they bused all the locals in from the campo for miles around, lol.

I like to party in Cabarete alot.

Oh yeah, you can pick up chicas in Cabarete in the discos as well. I'd say go to Bambu or Onnos if you want the working girls...

But I would venture to say that Bambu is definitely the "Classicos" of Cabarete. Go on the weekends for the largest selection of putas.

thanks for the info. yeah i like cabarete. ill probably stay a day or 2 there.

is cabarete just that one little strip? or is there more that i missed when i was there? i dont remember seeing any clubs but i think i was only there till about 10.

I just watched the Kite Beach and Rio San Juan episodes.

Kite Beach: Girls try to learn to kite-surf. In one segment, they hang onto
their male instructors in the water (no boards, just bodysufing), and when the instructors start to take off the girls both loose their bikini bottoms from the water pulling against their bodies. Ha, Ha... Cara said that the best part about kite surfing that day was the feeling of the water current against her private parts (which she said felt flush)......

Rio San Juan: Girls ride ATVs through the countryside and beach. They cross the San Juan River where they notice local Dominicans partying by playing their stereos and swimming. Campo Tours did the ATV tour. Something I think I'll do on my next visit, next month.

I've recorded the "Get Out!" episodes by filming the TV onto my camcorder, and then onto a DVD. The picture quality is really pretty good because all these shows are in high-def which carries over onto the recording, so not much, if any, is lost.

So if you all are interested, cast your vote now to watch these shows at Rockies somenight....I'll be in Sosua from Nov. 15 to Dec. 14.......
