Economy, Planning and Development Minister Temistocles Montas will be in Toronto for a luncheon meeting at the Canadian Council for the Americas on 15 October, from 11:45am to 1:30pm. The talk will focus on "The Dominican Republic's Long-Term Strategy."
The event will take place at Fogler, Rubinoff LLP at 95 Wellington Street W. Suite 1200, TD Center, in Toronto.
The CCA is the principal private sector link between Canada, Latin America and the Caribbean. As a networking and information vehicle, the CCA's primary objective is to stimulate the expansion of Canadian commercial interests in the markets of the countries of the region.
Founded in 1987, represented by its headquarters in Toronto and chapters in Ottawa, Montreal, Halifax, Calgary and Vancouver, the CCA has grown to over 600 members from coast to coast.
The event is sponsored by the Embassy of the Dominican Republic and ambassador Jose Urena, and the CCA, with the support of Barrick, Scotiabank, KPGM, Air Transat and Fogler, Rubinoff LLP.
