Hoy newspaper Que Se Dice column comments today on President Leonel Fernandez' reticence when it comes to speaking to the press. The newspaper's commentary says that in Latin America only Cuba's Fidel Castro talks to the press with less frequency. The newspaper comments that the President does not believe in press conferences, and as time goes by is less and less willing to speak to the press when approached informally. The newspaper mentions that the extreme has happened, and that is to find out about the President's "vision", or his "thoughts," one has to attend the promotional fair now under way at the Feria Ganadera exhibition grounds on the Vision of the President, ten years since he first took power in 1996. The fair is described as one of the first formal efforts prior to promote the President's re-election for 2008.
