Security works at Mirador del Sur Park

News portal 7dias.com.do reports that users of Santo Domingo's Mirador del Sur Park, the 8km stretch in front of Anacaona Avenue high rises are pleased with the new vigilance ordered by the police. The Police ordered a patrol of 17 police agents to monitor the park from 6am to 10pm. Junior Ogando, a frequent user of the park, said that assaults and thefts no longer occur. He commented that the problem was much greater than people thought because most victims never report these incidents.
