He was only 48 years old, but Ricardo Herrera suffered a cardiac arrest after playing basketball at the Club Paraiso and was taken to the Centro Medico Moderno where he was said to have been dead on arrival at around 9pm. He was a popular DJ at weddings, birthdays and other social events.
He was one of the first DJs to provide the service.
Herrera is survived by his parents Milagros Estepan and Juan Asdrubal Herrera and his children Michelle, Yleme and Ricardo, as reported in Listin Diario.
