Super Lotto Real is trying to trace the winner of the first Super Lotto. After 114 draws, someone purchased the winning numbers of 7, 8, 14, 15 and 19 with the Super Real Ball of 23. According to the regional manager for the Cibao, Juan Jose Carrasco, this is the Super Lotto's first big winner since it started operations in the Caribbean islands in 2009. According to Hoy, the Lotto Real had paid out RD$103 million before this jackpot winner. Tickets for the lottery are sold in Jamaica, Barbados, Anguilla, Barbuda, St. Kitts & Nevis, St. Maarten and in the US Virgin Islands as well as the Dominican Republic. The local office reported that the winning ticket, which was sold in St. Maarten, would mean a payout of US$5.4 million to the lucky ticket holder.
