Debbie Guzman, a US citizen, was arrested at the Santiago Cibao International Airport when attempting to transport 111 small packets of heroin, weighing one kilo and 235 grams. She is a resident of Manhattan. She was arrested prior to taking JetBlue flight to NY. She had packed some of the drugs in disposable diapers in her underwear and swallowed the rest.
