Security forces at Las Americas International Airport have arrested another suspected mule as she attempted to board an Air Europe flight to Madrid. Recently, several drug smuggling attempts using this method have been thwarted. The 34-year old French citizen had six packages suspected to be cocaine adhered to her jeans. The drugs were detected when she passed through the Migration area.
Another person, Guijarro Gonzalez was arrested for attempting to smuggle two packages suspected of being drugs in the shoes he was wearing, according to National Drug Control Department spokesman Colonel Ramon Alcides Rodriguez Veras.
