Aumi Guerra has become the Dominican Republic's first bowling World Cup winner. Playing in Toulon, France, she won the gold medal at the 46th QubicaAMF World Cup competition at the Bowling de Provence. She was seeded No. 3, and upset No. 1 seed Gye Min-Young of Korea, 2-1 (203-226, 202-196, 240-196) in the women's finals. Earlier, she defeated England's Fiona Banks, who won bronze.
