It is now easier to receive remittances in the Dominican Republic with the alliance of MoneyGram and the local Banco Popular. The announcement was made in New York City. According to El Caribe, the main focus of the announcement is that clients can receive their remittances within 10 minutes by way of the Money Gram system and at any one of the 187 Popular branches in the Dominican Republic or through any of the 500 ATM machines operated by the bank.
