Mass murderer caught

After escaping from La Victoria Prison, 26-year old Jose Miguel Perez continued his killing spree. The Police are accusing him of the murders of two Swiss citizens who had been living in Juan Dolio for two months. After his capture by the Police, Perez confessed to at least 10 other murders of foreigners. Perez and his accomplice, Eliezer de Leon Soto were both serving 20-year sentences for a number of crimes. According to Hoy newspaper, Perez was arrested at his house in the Botados section of Boca Chica and de Leon Soto was taken into custody as he was walking down the street with two bags full of stolen articles. He tried to convince the Police that he was mentally disabled. The bags contained what can only be described as damning evidence: computers, cell phones belonging to the two Swiss victims as well as the knives that were used to kill them and the bloodstained rope used to tie them up. Hoy reports the two were accused by the Police of the murder of 47-year old Oliver Maximilien Leon Guntert and 63-year old Johanna Baer, who had two months living in an apartment in Villa Paraiso.
