Stray bullet could have killed prosecutor

The latest version of the killing of prosecutor Giselle Orquidea Reyes Diaz, 33, is that when she was walking with her escort, police sergeant Augusto Luciano Familia, two men tried to rob them. Two men, Pedro Julio Orti Ceballos and Hector Garcia Cuevas are now under arrest. The Police say they have a gun that they believe was used to shoot at the couple on Sunday evening when they were returning from buying pizza. The sergeant was sent to jail while the case is being prepared. It was determined early on that a bullet from Familia's gun had caused Reyes' death, but it was subsequently found that the bullet had rebounded from a hard surface before it hit her.
