The president of the National Hotel & Tourism Association (Asonahores) Julio Llibre was at the Chamber of Deputies yesterday to lobby legislators to work on the passing of several tourism bills. He said that bills aimed at providing incentives for the development of maritime tourism, arts and crafts, a bill for public access to beaches and others are dormant in Congress. He reminded legislators that tourism contributes 20% to the Gross Domestic Product, and urged them to work on the pending bills.
