Celso Marranzini, the executive vice-president of the Public Electricity Companies (CDEEE) has told the Permanent Commission on Energy Affairs that he would prefer to appear before the commission on 10 November, instead of 3 November as they had requested. He said that he needed the additional week to fully prepare his file on the major energy issues. There has been a lot of talk lately of rescinding the contracts with many of the electricity generators that are said to have very cumbersome agreements with the government.
