The stalemate between the members of the commission that evaluated the more than 200 candidates for positions on the board of the Chamber of Accounts, the governments auditing agency, continued this week, and now it seems that the commission might be able to present its five different lists during Thursday's session of the Chamber of Deputies. The commission chairman, Dilepsio Nunez defended the way in which the commission selected the final 25 candidates which include six of the current members, including the chief magistrate, Licelot Marte de Barrios. Members of the PRD and PRSC opposition parties told reporters from El Nuevo Diario that they would present dissenting opinions on the selection of the possible candidates for the accounting agency.
