Freddy Beras in Cedimat

The country's number one TV personality, humorist Freddy Beras Goico, was taken to the Intensive Care Unit of the Center for Diagnostics and Advanced Medicine (Cedimat) yesterday by his son, after complaining of stomach pains. He is reported to have displayed symptoms of hypoglycemia. A bacterial infection is suspect, but he was being kept in the ICU. According to El Caribe, his personal physician Dr. Jose Rafael Yunen confirmed the report. Beras has been recovering from serious illness for the past several months, but this has not kept him from producing his programs.
