A report from the Ministry of Hacienda indicates that during the third quarter of the year, the central government debt increased by US$321.9 million, equivalent to 2.3%. The Non-Financial Public Sector debt was US$14.16 billion as of 30 September, according to the report. The NFPS debt represents 28.28% of the Gross Domestic Product. 64% of the total corresponds to foreign debt, or US$9.07 billion.
