Legislators and city council members who hold more than one job need to resign from one. Public Administration Minister Ramon Ventura Camejo says that the second wage would be retained in the National Treasury. He said that Law 41-08 prohibits public employees from holding two jobs in government. On Monday, media reports focused on several city council members found to be holding other jobs in government.
