A non-governmental organization, Living in Condominiums Network (Red de Vida en Condominio, RVC) is reaching out to residents in Naco to educate them on community initiatives aimed at eliminating garbage in the area. The RVC is appealing to building boards and administrators, municipal authorities, architects and builders to get involved in activities to educate people on how to better handle waste disposal in the area. The group told Listin Diario that this is a first step towards solving other problems. The plan is aimed at protecting the environment and conserving property values. The plan is also aimed at encouraging architects and builders to join an efficient solid waste management system for the buildings.
