Vehicle owners who have left it to the last minute are going to face long lines at the Tax Department (DGII) when going to renew their vehicle registration. Vehicles without the new stickers will be impounded, according to a report in today's El Caribe. Virginia Gomez, who is in charge of the process told reporters that people can still pick up their new registration stickers at any of the Savings and Loan offices, at any of the Banco ADEMI branches and even via the internet, until Sunday.
