Case investigators have discovered that the recently dismantled gang that took videos of couples in motel rooms forged court orders in order to place hidden cameras in the cabanas. According to a Diario Libre source, the gang members would approach the administration of the establishment and tell them that their mission was to install equipment for taping alleged criminals or drug traffickers and they immediately received the necessary cooperation. As a result, the Police have excluded the possibility that there was complicity between the employees at the cabanas and the criminal network that filmed couples having sex for the purpose of blackmail.
Police spokesman General Nelson Rosario said that in the next few days the Police would reveal the final results in the cases of the hired killers of the gang. He said that the investigation was still open and that so far three people have been arraigned in connection with the case. The gang allegedly managed to hack into some of the state's databases, using passwords acquired through mechanisms that are being investigated by the authorities.
