Trujillo foundation and book banned

The Fifth Civil and Commercial Court of the National District has banned the installation of a branch of the Fundacion Rafael Leonidas Trujillo Molina in the country. The Trujillo Foundation's mission is to highlight the achievements of the infamous former dictator. The court also banned sale of the book, "Trujillo, My Father in my Memories." Several statements in the book have been disputed, but several news commentators have spoken out against the ban, saying that it will only provide publicity for the book. After the forced exit of the Trujillo family following the dictator's assassination in 1961, a law was passed that bans all pro-Trujillo activism in the DR.
