The Tigres del Licey delighted their fans in Santo Domingo yesterday by comfortably defeating the Leones del Escogido 8-4. Cesar Valdez had a great pitching night, holding back the Escogido for six innings.
In Santiago, the Gigantes defeated the Aguilas, who made seven defense errors in their own stadium. The Gigantes won 6-0.
In La Romana, the Toros defeated the Estrellas, 5-2.
