Traffic came to a halt on the Malecon yesterday after a serious accident involving a vehicle and two trucks. The injured were identified as Francisco Contreras, who was driving a Daihatsu truck, Jesus Batista, Italian Roberto Ifico and another man only identified as El Mello, as reported in Listin Diario. The collision ocurred between a vehicle, a Mack truck and a Daihatsu truck, property of the San Ramon hardware store, loaded with sand. Contreras suffered two broken legs, and Ifico suffered injuries to his left arm. The accident happened around noon in front of the Santo Domingo Hilton Hotel and the Malecon Center.
