I have stayed there before. Clean sheets, warm water and a safe. Basic accomodations. I think I paid around US$30 but I know they have cheaper rooms in the "old" section.

It is Colonial not Colonian you can see it here but it is in kind of a busy poor part of town.

I would recommend the Hotel Century Plaza just off the highway (autopista) from the airport. They are about $50 dollars but that includes a welcome drink in there nice bar and restaurant that has computers on the bar free to use. It also includes Breakfast.

Nice cold AC, clean and safe area with things to walk to.

Ciao

I have stayed at the Century many times since it opened and it was my favorite for a time. But then they raised their prices a little and started charging for two people when I check in with a chica. I don't remember ever bringing one back so I can't commennt on that.

Platino over by UTESA is not as new but they charge by the room and even allow two chicas at a time without a problem. And the rooms are a little cheaper. But no breakfast. http://www.hotelplatinord.com/

I looked at that one online last year but never tried it. Century Plaza didn't charge me extra for bringing in a girl. Once I booked on Expedia and checked 2 adults which was the same rate as one.

The other times I just emailed the manager her name is Luchy Castillo I think the first name may not be spelled exactly like that but pretty close I would have to did through old email files.

I brought a girl from POP more than once and they never even asked for her ID. I said she was my wife and they just checked me in.
