Former President of Chile visits

Former President of Chile Michelle Bachelet is visiting the Dominican Republic for a conference in Santo Domingo, the Regional Conference on Gender, Integration and Development. She received an award from President Leonel Fernandez at the Presidential Palace. Bachelet's agenda includes a talk on "Women, State and Economy" at the Presidential Palace, and meetings with President Fernandez and Valerie Julliand, representative of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in the Dominican Republic.
