Santo Domingo Province Court of Appeals Criminal Chamber is expected to rule on the scandalous Plan Renove case in which 12 former officials, union leaders and businessmen stand accused of fraud against the state to the tune of over RD$1.8 billion. Diario Libre reports that the court, presided by Judge Olga Herrera and completed by Judges Juan Hirohito Reyes and Manuel del Socorro Perez will decide whether to acquit or confirm the ruling of the court of first instance. Accused in this case stand Pedro Franco Badia, Siquio Ng de la Rosa, Fabio Ruiz, Juan Julio Morales (Johnny), Antonio Marte, Milciades Amaro, Blas Peralta, Antonio Perez, Freddy Williams Mendez, Alfredo Pulinario Linares (Cambita), Gervasio de la Rosa and Paulino Antonio Reynoso (Padre Tono).
