Fernandez decorates Bachelet

President Leonel Fernandez placed a ribbon over the shoulders of former Chilean president Michelle Bachelet, awarding her the nation's honor of the order of Duarte Sanchez and Mella, Great Golden Cross. The ceremony was held during the celebration of a Regional conference on "Gender, Integration and Development: 50 years from the Assassination of the Mirabal sisters". The awards ceremony took place at the Presidential Palace yesterday.
