The surprising Aguilas Cibaenas defeated the Estrellas Orientales for their sixth victory in a row, 4-3 in the Estadio Cibao last night. The Aguilas had to come back from a two-run deficit to take the victory from the Estrellas. In Santo Domingo, the Tigres del Licey ended their victory drought at six games as they defeated the Gigantes del Cibao 7-6 in eleven innings. In La Romana, the Toros del Este won and returned to sole possession of first place as they defeated the Leones del Escogido 3-2, in a game that saw Jose Constanza extend his hitting streak to 14 games.
