Monsignor Agripino Nunez Collado is warning that some people are trying to divert the Constitutional reform process. He insinuated that more attention was being focused on the 'how' rather than the 'what' of the reform process. As cited by El Caribe, the academic leader and mediator said that themes such as nationality, the modification of Article 55 of the current Constitution, the division of the nation in so many provinces, or whether judges should be for life or have an age limit or a specific time period are the ones that need to be looked at by the participating interest groups. President Leonel Fernandez has assigned a top priority to reforming the Constitution, now that the government party is majority in Congress.
