Airport thieves foiled

Diario Libre reports that the National Police are in the process of rounding up a large gang that preyed on foreign visitors going through Las Americas International Airport. It appears that the gang was led by one of the employees at a currency exchange house that operates at the airport. The man arrested revealed the names of his accomplices, including women who would wait for the intended victims in the parking lot. The police found the names of the gang members who had committed several attacks on his cell phone.
