26 local artists in Jarabacoa have joined forces for the Jarabacoa Arts & Environment Fair taking place in the mountain town through 11 December. To mark the closing of the fair on Saturday, a mountain jazz festival will be held at the Pinar Dorado Hotel starting at 8pm. This year the festival is dedicated to the preservation of trees, the theme of works that local artists have created for the fair. Their works are on show at the Plaza Don Jorge exhibition hall in Jarabacoa. The event is being organized by the Jarabacoa Ecotourism Cluster with support from USAID.
