Arawak Contemporary Art Gallery at Rafael Augusto Sanchez 53, in Piantini (between Federico Gerardino and Abraham Lincoln) in Santo Domingo is inviting art, food and wine lovers to a Thursday night of art, tapas and wine.
Art connoisseur Mildred Canahuate will be at the art gallery from 7 to 11pm to speak about Dominican fine art. Enjoy a glass of wine for RD$100, tapas like mini-paella for RD$150 and get to know works by Antonio Guadalupe, Angel Urrelly, Elsa Nunez, Guillo Perez, Iris Perez, Marcia Guerrero, Jose Morillo, Jose Pelletier, Jose Perdomo, Jose Sejo and Rosalba Hernandez among others. The artists will also be present at the event and will be on hand to discuss their work. This is part of the Circuit of Art Galleries Thursday event.
