The shock divorce announced by mega diva and TV host Luz Garcia and former Minister of the Armed Forces, politician Jose Miguel Soto Jimenez was revealed on 26 November, after the couple released a brief statement to the press. "The separation was one of mutual agreement and consent," said the note. The note went on to explain that communications would be kept flowing on matters of common interest: their son Miguel Angel, born on 21 January 2010. The couple had married on 12 April 2008.
