Brugal rum, sponsor of the New Year's Eve bash in Santo Domingo, has announced that this year's event will take place at the new Plaza Juan Baron on the Malecon.
The lineup includes Hector Acosta, Eddy Herrera, Kinito Mendez, El Cata, Truhanes, Secretos, Michel, Zacarias Ferreira and Frank Reyes. Some 25,000 people are expected to dance to the bands' merengue, salsa and bachata music. The Roncierto Brugal will also be televised by Channel 9 and Channel 25 in Santiago, as well as by the state television channel.
